Classically trained as a Geologist early in my career, I found a passion for research. After earning my master's degree in Glacial Geology from the University of Maine, Orono, I went on to work as a Glacial Geologist for the Minnesota Geologic Survey. There I acquired an appreciation for communication of the work we were doing with the broader community and developed skills needed to communicate the research and results.
