I am a geologist-turned-editor who's built my career on turning rough ideas into polished, impactful narratives. Before I was an editor, I worked as a geologist, with a master's in glacial geology and paleoclimatology and fieldwork in Antarctica and Greenland. That means I check things rather than trust them, and a story about avalanche science or climate doesn't have to be handed to someone else. My journey from studying the earth’s layers to working with words has given me a unique perspective—combining precision, research skills, and a deep love for storytelling.

Whether it’s a travel guide, adventure article, gear review, or blog post, Liz brings a meticulous eye to every project, ensuring the final piece is clear, compelling, and crafted to resonate with readers. Her experience spans the outdoor and adventure industries, with topics ranging from vanlife to mountain biking, paragliding, and scuba diving.
